The I Ching is not only an oracle, but a book of wisdom that shows how you respond to a multitude of situations in a balanced way. Fu Hsi was a ruler who lived around 3000 B.C. and was said to have found the eight trigrams that form the sixty-four hexagrams on the shell of a tortoise. He is credited as being the first person to give some order to what was at that time, a completely ucivilized culture. The origin of reading Tarot cards is buried in conjecture. Some believe them to have been introduced to the western world by the gypsies. Certainly, Tarot reading goes back a long way in Gypsy culture. Year 2000 is the Year of the Dragon.
